About Me

Hello I am Desarea Valentine, and I am running for Cascade County's Clerk & Recorder to bring professionalism, transparency, and accountability to one of the most important offices in local government. I believe every record should be accurate and safe guarded when it comes to preserving our history, and every resident should be treated with respect. I am a proud community member, currently the Chief Deputy for the Clerk and Recorder's office, and candidate for Clerk & Recorder. I’m running to modernize record-keeping, and ensure the Clerk’s office is efficient, ethical, and accessible to all and to remain conservative with your county funds. Local government matters—especially when it comes to trust
